Motivating
The motivation part is key to the success of the work this ministry must do. Through our Kingdom Takeover (Sunday Service) as well as other teaching opportunities, this ministry seeks to equip people with the core teachings of the Word of God to put them into practice in their everyday lives.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you[a] shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
At Dominion, we believe the training and teaching from the Word of God, when put into practice, will cause a person to live the abundant life that God intended for them. Therefore, we are a teaching ministry with a clear focus of motivating through the Word of God in order for lives to be transformed.
Mobilizing
In 2021 Dr. Shelton was given a mandate by God to focus on transforming cities with both the Word of God and the Favor of God in Action.
Isaiah 61:4
And they shall rebuild the old ruins,
They shall raise up the former desolations,
And they shall repair the ruined cities,
The desolations of many generations.
Ezekiel 36:35 NKJV
So they will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden; and the wasted, desolate, and ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited.’
The Mobilizing part of the vision of Dominion Kingdom Family Ministries is to be a Hub of Hope. The mission of this ministry is not only to help the city that we are in, but also to look to the inner cities surrounding us. In this we will carry out the fulfillment of the previously mentioned passages, by helping bring resources (food, finances, teaching, career and life skill development, and encouragement) to them, so “ruined cities can be repaired.” We will not just give them fish, but we will teach them how to fish. With these seeds planted it will cause others to grow and mobilize and do the same for someone else in need.
Maturing
It is a part of this vision that tangible growth is experienced in the lives that are touched by this ministry. Therefore, we believe that as one is Motivated (fed the Word of God), Mobilized (doing active work helping and ministering to others in need), Maturity will come as you are getting fed the Word, putting it into action, and ministering to and helping reach others also.
James 2:18 NKJV
But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
Ephesians 4:11-13
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Maturity comes through the equipping that comes from the teaching of the Word of God and the action that comes by doing the Word of God. We believe that for this ministry to be successful it must build on equipping people to change the atmosphere wherever they go and let Jesus Christ be glorified.
